The Iran Building of the Year Award is a cultural and artistic event aimed at reviewing, recognizing, introducing, publishing, and documenting high-quality, impactful, and exemplary architectural projects, with the goal of promoting architecture in the country and introducing skilled and committed architects to the community.
One of the key steps in this award is its judging process. In the 9th Iran Building of the Year Award, held at the Nooraneh Company Showroom, the evaluation was conducted based on architects defending their projects before the judges, followed by in-person visits to the finalist and selected buildings. The judges, by visiting the works, engaged in discussions with the architects and clients, considering factors aligned with local and national requirements, spatial and executional quality, and techniques, before making their assessments.
